When choosing the right cycling gear, proper fit is key. Our customers often have questions about the fit of cycle wear, such as, “How tight should my cycling shorts be?” or “How should I choose the right size for my cycling jersey?” Our advice is that proper fit is essential for both comfort and performance. Your cycle wear should feel snug but not restrictive, allowing freedom of movement while providing compression benefits.
The PRO (PASSION) and PROJECT collections are made from tight, elastic materials designed for maximum performance and compression, while the ELITE (MOTION) and ACTIVE collections are slightly less tight. When selecting your jersey, it’s essential to follow our cycling jersey size chart to ensure the perfect fit.
However, it’s also important to note that our jerseys and skinsuits feature special arm bands. When trying them on for the first time, make sure to stretch the bands fully to adjust them to the shape of your arm. Don’t worry, they are made from very strong material and won’t break.

For the perfect fit, we recommend referring to our Size Guide, where you'll learn more about our sizing, how to measure cycling jersey size, and how other gear should fit for optimal performance and comfort. The guide also includes helpful photos to assist with measuring, showing you how cycling shorts should fit and how other cycling gear should fit.
Avoid Overstretching
Be gentle when you are putting on and taking off your cycle wear. Overstretching can damage the fabric and seams. When dressing up jerseys that feature silicone gripper sleeves, it’s beneficial to fold the sleeve ends outward before sliding your arms through. After your arms are fully inside the sleeves, fold the grippers back onto your arms to secure them effectively. This method is equally useful for bibs.
For best results, pull jerseys onto your arms by gradually moving the sleeve upward with gentle, short motions near the sleeve's end. Avoid tugging from the chest or shoulder area to prevent stretching and potential damage. This recommendation also applies to wearing bib shorts. Avoid pulling the bib straps over your shoulders until the bibs are fully positioned on your legs also. Also be careful and do not overfill jersey pocketswith too many items.

Layering
When considering what to wear under your cycling jersey we recommend a variety of layering options depending upon the weather. Use a cycle base layer to wick moisture, a mid-layer for insulation, and an outer layer for protection against wind and rain. We recommend following our product description, where you can find on what type of riding and weather the garment is best suited for, what you should use when layering for cold weather cycling or what when you looking for a lightweight and breathable cycling base layer for summer. When you are not sure whether to use one layer less or more, it's better to use one layer more.
If you have already found your ideal jersey size, you can confidently choose the same size for your base layers and other garments. Our products are designed with consistent sizing across the range, ensuring that each layer fits comfortably on top of the other without restricting movement. This uniform sizing makes it easy to combine pieces for any weather conditions while maintaining an optimal fit and performance.
